Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actress from the United States. She is well-known for her roles in soap operas as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless and Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. She played Daphne, a recurring character in season 2 of HBO's show True Blood. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. When she arrived in Maury County, she began teaching kindergarten and first grade Reading. After marrying the love of her life and UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she relocated to Thompsons Station. Then she began her teaching career at Bethesda Elementary, where she taught the 4th grade. In 1999-2000, she taught and completed her masters in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. She stepped out of the classroom in 2000 when the couple welcomed their son Baylor. Ashley worked for fifteen years to serve her church, community and kids. Ashley has served as a leader for the Preschool Ministry as well as in the Student Ministry for over 13 years. Ashley has spent the last three years home homeschooling her kids. While they were homeschooling, the children took part in a school tutorial at which Ashley was a teacher of History in the Kindergarten class and First Grade. God taught her family that even though she loved homeschooling with the children and spending time with them, it was now the time for her to return to the classroom. Brent and Ashley have five kids. Silas and Eliza as well as Cruz all go to GCA. Baylor is an GCA student who plays the game of baseball. She is also a student at the UT-Martin. Callan is as well a GCA Graduate and attends Western Kentucky University. The family is extremely active and enjoys fishing, hunting and supporting each other in sports.
