Anika Noi Rose is an American singer/actress is a well-known name in the entertainment industry. Most famously, she is the voice of Tiana In The Princess and the Frog, the very first African American Disney Princess. The Disney Company named her a legend in the year 2011. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robinson in the Academy Award-winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born on the 6th of September 1973) is an American actress and a singer. The most famous of her roles was her role as Tiana Ariel, the princess of Disney, who was one of the very first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). And she performs the role of LaVerne Jukebox Ganner in the Starz series Power. Her performance in the theater are also well-known, particularly her role in the role of Emmie Thbodeaux and as the character in the Broadway show Caroline or Change (2004) which won her an award for the Tony Award Best Featured actress in a Musical. She was also nominated in her nomination for Tony Award Best Featured actor in a play for the Broadway revival A Raisin in the Sun.
